Education Programs
Student Voice and Leadership is a valued and important part of our ¾ÞÈéÊÓƵ. We work hard to engage our students in meaningful conversation about what we do well and how we can make Al ¾ÞÈéÊÓƵ even better for all. Part of this engagement includes the formal Student Representative Council (SRC).
We are delighted to introduce our newly elected 2025 ¾ÞÈéÊÓƵ Captains, Aaliya Farah (Girls) and Amaar Hamida (Boys), alongside their Vice-Captains, Nusayr Sultan (Girls) and Farhan Abid (Boys), to the Al ¾ÞÈéÊÓƵ community.
Al ¾ÞÈéÊÓƵ ¾ÞÈéÊÓƵ embarked on our very first involvement in an interfaith program in 2015. Since the start, we have been working closely with St Monica’s ¾ÞÈéÊÓƵ in Epping and Thomastown Secondary ¾ÞÈéÊÓƵ.
At Al ¾ÞÈéÊÓƵ ¾ÞÈéÊÓƵ, leadership in Islam is understood as a trust (Amanah) and a responsibility to serve others with integrity, justice, and compassion, as exemplified by the leadership of the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him). We believe that true leadership is not about authority or control but about inspiring positive change, upholding ¾ÞÈéÊÓƵ values, and fostering a sense of accountability to Allah (SWT) and the community. At the heart of our approach is the nurturing of ethical leaders who embody humility, wisdom, and the ability to make decisions that benefit the collective good. Through programs and initiatives, we empower our students to develop these qualities, preparing them to lead with purpose, serve as role models, and contribute meaningfully to society, in alignment with the teachings of the Qur'an and Sunnah.
