Secondary students in Year 10 are able to choose their subjects of choice from a variety of options in 2025. Besides the compulsory subjects (English and VCE English skills, Maths, ¾ÞÈéÊÓƵ Studies, Quran, Humanities, Science and Life Skills), students also need to select one VCE subject.
At Al ¾ÞÈéÊÓƵ, students in Year 10 are expected to have made a preliminary choice on the preferred VCE subjects they wish to study in Year 11 and 12 by the end of Term 3.

Our TEAMS (Technology, Engineering, Art, Maths and Science) facility was completed in September 2017, showcasing Al ¾ÞÈéÊÓƵ’s contemporary way of thinking in regards to important learning environments and student work spaces.
The iPad programme, which has been adopted by Al ¾ÞÈéÊÓƵ ¾ÞÈéÊÓƵ, seeks to enhance learning for our students by utilising 21st century learning tools. The usage of individual iPads empowers students to improve their self-initiated learning and collaboration, and prepare them for further studies and the workplace.

Vis Naidu is the Head of Secondary School at the Al ¾ÞÈéÊÓƵ ¾ÞÈéÊÓƵ in Epping, Victoria. He was born and educated in South Africa with a Bachelor of Arts Degree, Diploma in Teaching and an Honours Degree in Psychology.
He started his teaching in 1986 and was actively involved in the transformation of the political landscape in South Africa in1994. After teaching for 18 years in South Africa, he decided it was time for a change and moved to Melbourne, Australia in 2004.
Vis has also taught in London, gaining valuable knowledge and experience as a secondary teacher (GCSE) of English. In Australia, he took up a position at a Catholic ¾ÞÈéÊÓƵ in Kilmore, Victoria, teaching VCE Psychology and English. He joined Al ¾ÞÈéÊÓƵ at the beginning of 2012 with the aim of helping to build the ¾ÞÈéÊÓƵ into a reputable institute of learning.
