We recently hosted a Special Assembly for our Senior Secondary students in Years 10 – 12 to celebrate the outstanding achievements of our 2024 Year 12 alumni cohort, recognising their dedication, perseverance, and academic excellence. This significant event served as an opportunity to honour our highest achievers and acknowledge the hard work of our VCE students who attained remarkable results in their final exams.
At the heart of the ceremony was the presentation of the Year 12 DUX award, recognising the student who achieved the highest overall academic performance in the cohort. This prestigious honour reflects not only exceptional academic ability but also dedication, resilience, and a strong commitment to learning. We congratulate Abdullah Syed Mustafa, our 2024 ¾ÞÈéÊÓƵ Vice-Captain, as the Al ¾ÞÈéÊÓƵ ¾ÞÈéÊÓƵ DUX of 2024.
In addition to the DUX award, students who achieved exam results above 80% and 90% were also acknowledged for their hard work and commitment to excellence. These students demonstrated remarkable perseverance and effort throughout their VCE journey, setting a high standard of academic success.
Our Head of Secondary Mr Vis Naidu expressed his pride in the students, highlighting their accomplishments as a testament to their dedication and the support of their families, teachers, and mentors. He encouraged them to continue striving for excellence as they embark on the next chapter of their academic and professional lives.
The special assembly was not only a moment of recognition but also an inspiration for younger students and current Year 12’s, showcasing the heights that can be reached with determination and hard work.
Congratulations once again to all our award recipients! May your achievements pave the way for even greater success ahead.
