Alhamdullilah, the LEAP Inquiry Exhibition has been a great and successful event held in our auditorium on last Friday, 18 November 2022 . The exhibition was well attended by parents, staff and fellow students after school from 2.30pm onwards.
The exhibition was a whole year’s worth of student research work, stretching over the course of the previous four terms. Students were mentored by staff members, guiding them in their chosen investigation project which they meticulously exhibited both on hand in the form of a portfolio and/or diary as well as a PowerPoint presentation, interactive activities and feature wall exhibit. The Year 7 LEAP students were paired up to research one project whereas the Year 8’s and Year 9’s did an individual project of their own choice. Projects were ranging from:
To honour our LEAP students' hard work and commitment in setting up and exhibiting their learning projects, Primary and Secondary (Year 7 & 8 only) students were also invited to view the exhibition on Monday and Tuesday of the last week, allowing this fantastic learning celebration for our LEAP students to be shared with their peers.
Congratulations to our LEAP students and staff for their absolutely outstanding effort leading up to and on the exhibition days, mashaAllah.
We would like to thank Ms Shahidah for her hard work and dedication in providing an opportunity for our LEAP students to showcase their fantastic learning projects. We are grateful to Ms Shahidah and her team for pioneering the LEAP program with its first ever exhibition and look forward to many more occasions to celebrate our students' learning and achievements in the years ahead.
