Our 2017 Junior School Exhibition with the theme "Beyond one right answer – Thinking Mathematically!" was a huge hit, with lots of parents and community members. Many took up the wonderful opportunity to walk through our Junior School and admire the hard work that students and teaching staff have put into exhibiting their Maths learning enquiry unit.
The Maths Exhibition ran over the course of two days, in the morning of Thursday, 14 September and in the afternoon of Friday, 15 September 2017. The official Opening of this year’s Junior School Exhibition took place on Friday, 15 September 2017 at 2.30pm. Visiting parents, staff and students were welcomed by Ƶ Principals Mr Houghton and Ms Rahat as well as the Head of our Junior School, Ms Shahidah. The exhibition opened with a beautiful Qur'an recitation by Ustadh Ahmad, followed by a nasheed presented by our female students from Year 5A.
Afterwards, visitors were invited to walk through the various Junior School classes where students' works were on display on tables, desk and up on the walls. Many classes had activities and games available for parents and their fellow student buddies as well, putting their Maths skills and knowledge to the test and making the exhibition and very interactive one, mashaAllah.
We would like to say a “BIG THANK YOU” to all as the success of this event would not be made possible. We would like to congratulate our Junior School Staff for their relentless work, support and willingness to take on the challenge for this year’s exhibition – Thinking Mathematically. Your efforts, hardwork, support and collaboration are much appreciated in making our students learning a memorable one.
