Our Year 9 Interfaith Ambassadors visited St. Monica’s ¾ÞÈéÊÓƵ (SMC) in Epping as part of our commitment to interfaith learning. They attended a thought-provoking interfaith professional dialogue workshop, which allowed students to discuss different faiths, promoting friendship and understanding. This was the first part of their session.
During their visit, our students were given a tour of St. Monica's ¾ÞÈéÊÓƵ by SMC Interfaith leaders. This allowed them to experience a different school environment and form new friendships. Light refreshments were served, creating a friendly and relaxed atmosphere.
A highlight of the visit was the group discussions where students from both schools shared their cultures, beliefs, and religious practices. These open conversations helped everyone understand each other better, highlighting how we are more alike than different. Such experiences are crucial in fostering better global citizens who celebrate uniqueness while finding common ground.
We are thankful to St. Monica’s ¾ÞÈéÊÓƵ for their warm hospitality and active participation. This visit was an important step towards fostering a world where mutual respect and understanding are paramount.
