Two teams of Year 7 boys and girls represented Al ¾ÞÈéÊÓƵ at Annual Maths Association Victoria "Maths Games Day" event held at Overnewton Anglican Community ¾ÞÈéÊÓƵ, Taylors Lake on Monday, 2 September 2019. The event was organised as part of Numeracy week and was a first for our students to attend.
The Maths Games Day created an opportunity for students to develop their mathematical talents and thinking skills in a setting where maths is regarded as fun and worthwhile. Students worked with like-minded students from a diverse range of schools. Students participated in problem solving and mathematical games that addressed the Victorian Curriculum proficiency strands. The teams were accompanied by Mr Mohamed Aden and Ms Noori Ahmad.
It was a fun day for our students to enhance their interdisciplinary skills than with Maths Games Day.
