In first two weeks of Term 2, Year 7 Secondary students were engaged in book design activities for the set text ‘Trash’ by Andy Mulligan.
Students made some interesting choices when redesigning the cover page. Some experimented with different materials and took a unique creative approach. The activity allowed students to examine ‘How a Book-Cover informs the readers about its story?’.
Students also learned how different stylistic choices add more meaning to visuals. Some excellent work was done by Sadiqah, Khadija, and Haniyah in Year 7G2; as well as by Naziha, Jessina, Anisa and Fatima A. from 7G1.
