Our Junior School students celebrated LITERACY AND NUMERACY WEEK today in a Special Primary Assembly.
As a surprise for our students, members of the Junior school team dressed up as famous Dr Seuss book characters which caused much laughter and fun during this morning’s assembly. We had appearances of Ms Cheryl and Ms Amina as "Thing One and Thing Two", Ms Elif as Wally and Ms Behnaz as the Cat in the Hat.
The students were also delighted to see Ms Rasha as Mary Poppins and Ms Shahidah as Little Red Riding Hood. Mary Poppins was true to her movie character role in bringing a bag full of jelly jars along. The students will have a chance to guess how many jellies are in each jar for a chance to win it.
A warm welcome to our lovely Junior School staff who helped make today’s assembly special and for making time to dress up and bring up smiles on everyone’s faces.
