The first ever Al ¾ÞÈéÊÓƵ Sisters and Girls Camp, held at Kangaroobie near Princetown during the Term 3 school holidays, was full of adventure, friendships and fun.
Ladies arrived to a delicious cooked lunch and after Salah headed straight for the river for some canoeing. The camp was jam packed with activities including a bushwalk at night, farm visit and good food prepared by camp cooks for every meal, plus snacks and supper and morning tea.
The rest of the camp continued with various awesome activities including hiking, tobogganing on the sand dunes at Gellibrand river, witnessing the live birth of a calf and ¾ÞÈéÊÓƵ talks and discussions around the campfire with mugs of hot chocolate. Guest speakers from Victoria police Senior Constable Shanice Vilone and Ansam Sadik conducted a warm story circle by the campfire and so many beautiful moments were shared.
Our Sisters and Girls Camp 2018 was truly a memorable experience. Looking forward to more camps in 2019, InShaAllah.
