On Tuesday, 17 July 2018, our Year 5/6 boys participated in the Bachar Houli Cup round robin tournament against other ¾ÞÈéÊÓƵ schools, with the aim of giving students the opportunity to follow in the footsteps of other Muslim AFL players like Bachar Houli and Adam Saad.
The team put in a lot of hard work, training at lunch and after school in preparation for the day. The team won 3 out of their 4 games in extremely windy conditions, but unfortunately could not beat the eventual winners in the final game who were the better team on the day.
We hope that the Year 5/6 boys continue to work on their AFL skills as they have the opportunity to participate in this carnival each year while at Al ¾ÞÈéÊÓƵ.
